A monster truck show in DeKalb, Illinois turned into a nightmare Thursday afternoon when the truck lost control and crashed into the crowd injuring nine people. The nine injured were taken to the hospital including Amy List who suffered a spinal cord injury and was in serious condition.
Prior to the accident witnesses said that the monster truck began jumping increasingly closer to the crowd and spectators were asked to back up. The show was part of a demonstration put on by NAPA, the owner of the truck. The show is a national show currently traveling around the country.
NAPA may be faced with several lawsuits for the injuries suffered by the spectators. Those injured should contact an attorney to determine what their legal rights are.
