A Minneapolis bridge collapsed during the Wednesday evening rush hour killing at least six people. The Interstate 35W bridge was being repaired when it collapsed into several sections. There is information as to why the bridge collapsed at this time, but authorities do not believe it was an act of terrorism.

Early estimates believe there were at least 50 cars that fell into the water and land below. Other cars were scattered throughout the rubble the bridge collapse left behind. Hundreds of people were involved in the collapse and the death toll may continue to rise.
