The family of an 18 year old man filed a lawsuit against Cooper Tire & Rubber Company after the man was killed when a tire blew out of the vehicle he was a passenger in and caused the vehicle to flip several times and eject the man. He died at the scene of the accident.
While the assumption by many involved in a car accident is often the accident was caused by the negligence of a driver, there are many times when the fault lies with the vehicle or vehicle parts manufacturer.
