Several pit bulls have been the subject of attacks in the Chicagoland area. It is believed that many of these pit bulls are being raised for fighting, which causes these pit bulls to be increasingly aggressive and dangerous. It took two adults in this instance to remove the dog from the little girl. Dog fighting is illegal in Illinois and there have been investigations into these underground fights.
