A possible E. coli contamination has caused a recall of beef made by Davis Creek Meats and Seafood and Gordon Food Services stores. The beef being recalled was produced between March 1, 2007 and April 30, 2007. It was distributed to retailers in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin. The beef affected by the recall includes tenderized steaks and ground beef and are labeled “Est. 1947A.”
Symptoms of E. coli include stomach cramping and diarrhea that may become bloody. The infection may even lead to kidney failure. If you have these symptoms and have eaten the contaminated beef, you should contact an attorney immediately.
