A school bus traveling northbound on Garfield Boulevard Monday morning is to blame for the death of a 22 year old pedestrian. The bus driver was turning onto Wentworth Avenue when it is believed he began suffering from some type of medical condition. The bus hit a pedestrian and at least two cars causing the death of one man and injuries to nine others. There were no children on the bus at the time.

The victims of the crash were taken to several Chicago hospitals for treatment. There is no additional information at this time regarding what caused the bus driver to lose control of the bus. The family of the pedestrian and the victims of the accident may be entitled to recover from the bus driver and the bus company for the death of the pedestrian and the injuries suffered and should contact an attorney.
